FOOTPRINT Project consortium

The FOOTPRINT consortium is a multidisciplianrty partnership drawn from 15 organisations from 9 European countries. Their complementary skills were selected to fulfil the varied workpackages that contributed to the project, and encompass:

• Soil scientists.
• Climatologists.
• Hydrogeologists.
• Surface water hydrologists.
• Catchment modellers.
• Agronomists.
• Crop protection specialists.
• Agricultural software development and GIS experts.
• Data and risk assessment specialists.

The consortium members have a proven track record in undertaking research to understand the fate of pesticides in the environment and putting together software tools to evaluate the risk of pesticides impacting on water resources.
