RESUMEN

Aluminium phosphide is an insecticide and rodenticide that is approved for use in the EU. It has some potential for bio-concentration and is highly toxic to mammals. It is moderately soluble in water and non-volatile. It is not expected to persist in the environment. Aluminium phosphide is highly toxic to birds, fish and honeybees and moderately toxic to aquatic invertebrates, algae and earthworms.
