Fenarimol (Ref: EL 222)
Last updated: 23/02/2024
(Not known by any other names)

SUMMARY
Fenarimol is a foliar pyrimidine fungicide with systemic, curative and protective action. It has a low aqueous solubility but is soluble in many organic solvents. It is not considered to be volatile. Fenarimol may be very persistent in soils and aquatic systems depending upon local conditions. It is moderately toxic to most terrestrial and aquatic species. It’s oral toxicity to humans is low but there are concerns about potential chronic effects relating to reproduction/development and it is considered to be an endocrine disrupter.
Data alerts

The following alerts are based on the data in the tables below. An absence of an alert does not imply the substance has no implications for human health, biodiversity or the environment but just that we do not have the data to form a judgement.
