Writing Design; Object, Process, Discourse, Translation, will be held at the de Havilland campus of the University of Hertfordshire.
We aim to facilitate delegates with disabilities. The venue is suitable for wheelchair users. We will provide materials in Braille where appropiate if they are requested in advance. Map of UK showing Hertfordshire. Map of Hertfordshire showing Hatfield. Map of campuses (PDF format). If you travel by train, make sure that you book your ticket to Hatfield-Hertfordshire, because there is another town called Hatfield (in the North of England). Unobus and several other companies run bus services between Hatfield station and the University (deHavilland and Hatfield Campuses, and the Fielder Centre in Hatfield Business Park). If you travel by bus or coach, some long distance bus services stop at the nearby Galleria shopping centre rather than the University (see map of campuses). It is 3 minutes walk from the Galleria to the deHavilland campus, and about 10 to College Lane. If you travel by air to any of the London airports you may find Heathrow or Stanstead the most convenient because there is an airport bus service direct from them to Hatfield. If you travel by car, the University is located at Junction 3 of the A1(M) motorway. Car parking is available on the campus. |
