(Also known as: marble dust; calcite; limestone) |
A multi-use substance predominately used as an animal replellent but which also has some pesticide activity. It has a low aqueous solubility but would not be expected to persist in the environment. Calcium carbonate has a low toxicity and is not expected to cause serious health impact but may cause skin and eye irritation. It generally has a low ecotoxicity. |
