(Not known by any other names) |
| This is a novel micro-organism pesticide for which little data is currently available. The substance is not commercially available and will be subject to regulatory risk assessment before this can happen. |
The following alerts are based on the data in the tables below. An absence of an alert does not imply the substance has no implications for human health, biodiversity or the environment but just that we do not have the data to form a judgement. These hazard alerts do not take account of usage patterns or exposure, thus do not represent risk.

| | Burkholderia rinojensis is produced commercially through a fermentation-based process that cultivates the bacterium under controlled conditions optimised for metabolite production. Although specific details about its industrial-scale manufacturing are limited due to its relatively novel status, general biotechnology approaches for Burkholderia species involve selecting high-yielding strains, genetically enhancing biosynthetic pathways, and fine-tuning fermentation media to stimulate the production of desired bioactive compounds. Once the fermentation is complete, the broth is typically filtered and formulated into biopesticide products. |
