|FH Land Management was established in March
2009 following the closure of the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG) Scotland Ltd
by ex-FWAG staff. The new company is based in Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland. The
principal line of the companies work is in the delivery of conservation and habitat
management advice and grant preparation for the Scottish Rural Development Programme
(SRDP). However, other aspects of work delivered by FH Land Management include general
conservation and habitat management advice, resource management, nutrient budgeting,
pollution prevention advice, undertaking farm waste management plans, farm tourism/access
advice, training and directing enquiries to the appropriate specialised organisations as
required. With respect to this project FH Land Management were responsible for the
Scottish on-farm case studies.
