The University of Ljubljana is the largest Slovenian general university with almost 16,000 students. The University offers a wide spectrum of disciplines ranging from the classical natural science, agriculture, human and veterinary medicine, technical, computer, law and economics to social and linguistic studies. The Centre of Soil and Environmental Science (CSES) is a part of Biotechnical Faculty which comprises 4,000 students and 570 teaching and supporting staff. CSES is a leading national institution in the field of soil and environmental sciences. With respect to this project University of Ljubljana were responsible for the Slovenian national consultation exercise and various on-farm case studies.
