SUMMARY
A sulfonamide fungicide that is used to control a range of common infections. It has a low aqueous solubility, is slightly volatile with a calculated moderate mobility. There is not a high risk of the substance leaching to groundwater. It may be persistent in soil systems but is not expected to persist in water systems. It has a low mammalian toxicity but it is considered to be a reproduction toxicant. It is moderately toxic to birds and honeybees but poses a greater risk to aquatic species and earthworms.
