SUMMARY
Demeton-S-methyl sulfone is an organophosphate insecticide. Very little data is available regarding its environmental fate or its ecotoxicology. Demeton-O-methyl sulfone is highly toxic if consumed, is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor and a neurotoxin.
