Alanycarb
Last updated: 02/02/2024
(Also known as: alanycarbe; alanicarb)

SUMMARY
Alanycarb is an obsolete broad-range carbamate insecticide. It has a low aqueous solubility and is relatively volatile. It tends not to be persistent in soil systems but may persist in water. It has a moderate mammalian toxicity and there is slight concern regarding possible bioaccumulation. It is an acetyl cholinesterase inhibitor. Alanycarb is moderately toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates, highly toxic to honeybees but is relatively non-toxic to birds..
Data alerts

The following alerts are based on the data in the tables below. An absence of an alert does not imply the substance has no implications for human health, biodiversity or the environment but just that we do not have the data to form a judgement.
