Ampropylfos is an obsolete fungicide that was formely used to control mildew and other fungal diseases. It is highly soluble in water and is not considered to be volatile. It may be moderately persistent in soil systems depending upon conditions. It is not highly toxic to most fauna and flora. It has a low mammalian toxicity via the oral route but is a recognised irritant/
