Chloroneb is an obsolete fungicide seed treatment that was largely used on turf. It has a low aqueous solubility and is highly volatile and so may be prone to drift, It tends to be persistent in soil systems. It is not mobile and so will have little propensity for leaching to groundwater. It has a low to moderate toxicity to mammals, birds, fish and aquatic invertebrates. It is not highly toxic to humans but is considered to be a skin and eye irritant.
