Dalapon
Last updated: 03/09/2023
(Also known as: 2,2-DPA)
Dalapon is an organochlorine herbicide and plant growth regulator. It is highly soluble in water and relatively volatile. Data suggests it is moderately persistent in soil systems. Dalapon is relatively non-toxic to mammals but does appear to have a high potential for bioaccumulation. It has a low toxicity to birds and fish but is moderately toxic to honeybees.
The following alerts are based on the data in the tables below. An absence of an alert does not imply the substance has no implications for human health, biodiversity or the environment but just that we do not have the data to form a judgement.
