SUMMARY

Aluminium ammonium sulphate is used as a bird and animal repellent and is approved for use in the EU. It is highly soluble in water, non-volatile and non-persistent in soils. It is moderately toxic to mammals and a recognised irritant. It is relatively non-toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates.
