SUMMARY

Aluminium sulphate is an inorganic salt used for slug and snail control that is approved for use in the EU. It is highly soluble in water, non-volatile and can persist in the environment. It is not highly toxic to mammals but is moderately toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates.
