2,6-dichloro-N-((4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)methyl-benzamide is an obsolete unclassified fungicide. Very little information is available regarding its environmental fate. It has a low toxicity to birds and aquatic invertebrates but shows agreater toxicity to fish. 2,6-dichloro-N-((4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)methyl-benzamide has a moderate oral mammalian toxicity, is a neurotoxin and a recognised irritant.
