SUMMARY
Ammonium carbonate is an inorganic herbicide, fungicide and microbiocide. It is non-volatile and highly soluble in water. Ammonium acetate has a low mammalian toxicity and there is some risk of bioaccumulation. It is a recognised irritant. Ecotoxicological data is scarce.
