SUMMARY

2-aminobutane is a fumigant fungicide that does not have approval for use in the EU. It is highly soluble in water and is extremely volatile. It is not persistent in soil systems. It is moderately toxic to mammals and has a high potential for bioaccumulation. It is a recognised irritant. It is moderately toxic to birds, earthworms, honeybees and most aquatic organisms.
