Benoxacor (Ref: CGA 154281)
Last updated: 02/11/2023
(Also known as: C10964)
Benoxacor is a herbicide safener used with metalochlor. It has a low aqueous solubility, is quite volatile and, based on its chemical properties, has a high potential for leaching to groundwater. It is moderately persistent in soil systems but tends not to persist in water. It has a low mammalian toxicity and a high potential for bioaccumulation. It is moderately toxic to birds, honeybees, earthworms and most aquatic organisms.
The following alerts are based on the data in the tables below. An absence of an alert does not imply the substance has no implications for human health, biodiversity or the environment but just that we do not have the data to form a judgement.
