Calciferol
Last updated: 22/01/2023
(Also known as: ergocalciferol; ercalciol; vitamin D2)
Calciferol is a rodenticide. It has a moderate aquatic solubility and is non-mobile. There are considerable gaps in reported data for environmental fate and ecotoxicity. It is known to be highly toxic to mammals and is a recognised irritant.
The following alerts are based on the data in the tables below. An absence of an alert does not imply the substance has no implications for human health, biodiversity or the environment but just that we do not have the data to form a judgement.
