Bensultap (Ref: OMS 3011)
Last updated: 15/01/2023
(Also known as: TI 78; TI 1671)
Bensultap is an insecticide used to control a range of pests. It has a low aqueous solubility, is quite volatile but not expected to leach to groundwater. It is not persistent in soil systems but may be persistent in water under some environmental conditions. Bensultap is moderately toxic to mammals and most species of fauna and flora.
The following alerts are based on the data in the tables below. An absence of an alert does not imply the substance has no implications for human health, biodiversity or the environment but just that we do not have the data to form a judgement.
