Broflanilide (Ref: MCI-8007)
Last updated: 22/01/2023
(Also known as: BAS 450 I)
Broflanilide is an insecticide that is used to control chewing pests. It has a low aqueous solubility and is not considered to be highly volatile. In some situtions it may be very persistent in soil and in water systems. Whilst it is highly toxic to honeybees, It generally tends to have a low to moderate toxiciity to most other fauna and flora. It has a low oral mammalian toxicity snd no other human health concerns have been identified.
The following alerts are based on the data in the tables below. An absence of an alert does not imply the substance has no implications for human health, biodiversity or the environment but just that we do not have the data to form a judgement.
