OSCAR Workshop

On the 22^nd of November 2012, over 60 stakeholders from 22 Member States, together with representatives from the European Commission and the Permanent Representations to EU stakeholder organisations, attended an OSCAR project workshop in Brussels, where the team presented an overview of the OSCAR manual and decision support tool. The workshop was organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA) in association with the Agriculture and Environment Research Unit at the University of Hertfordshire, and included presentations by members of the team from all three partner organisations, as well as Peter Wehrheim (head of the ‘Climate Finance and Deforestation’ unit) and Rosario Bento Pais (head of the ‘Adaptation’ unit) from DG CLIMA, and Josefine Loriz-Hoffmann (head of the ‘Consistency of Rural Development’ unit) from DG Agriculture and Rural Development.
